How To Find Your Serial

Try Holding Preset Button 1 and 6 Together

Switch the radio on hold the preset buttons 1 & 6 for a few seconds, your radio will begin to cycle through its data, wait until your serial number (starting with V or M) shows and make a note of it, if this doesn't work try the steps below.

Try holding the preset buttons 2 & 6 for a few seconds, your radio will display its serial number (starting with V or M) remember to make a note of it, if this doesn't work try the method below.

The Hard Way

We will require you to remove the radio, this is not as complicated as it sounds but may involve some expense into obtaining radio release keys, pop into a shop like Halfords and ask for PC5-132 radio release keys, alternatively you could find a helpful local garage to give you a hand!

Once the radio is removed make sure to note down your serial number starting with V or M followed by 6 digits.

How to enter your code...

1. Turn ignition ON
2. Ensure radio is switched ON and displaying CODE along with/or ----
3. Keep pressing preset button 1 until the first digit of your code is shown.
4. Keep pressing preset button 2 until the second digit of your code is shown.
5. Keep pressing preset button 3 until the third digit of your code is shown.
6. Keep pressing preset button 4 until the fourth digit of your code is shown.
7. Once your code is displayed press either preset button 5 or * / Enter ^(Star) to save.

Using The Buttons On The Unit

1. Switch on the CD or cassette player.
2. The display should show 0 0 0 0.
3. Press 1st then 2, 3 and 4 repeatedly until each digit of your code appears on the display
4. Press and hold 6 to activate the unit.

Using The Stalk Control

1. Switch on the CD or cassette player.
2. The display should show 0 0 0 0.
3. Rotate the thumbwheel for the 1st digit of the code.
4. Then press the bottom button to move on.
5. Rotate the thumbwheel for the 2nd digit of the code.
6. Then press the bottom button to move on.
7. Rotate the thumbwheel for the 3rd digit of the code.
8. Then press the bottom button to move on.
9. Rotate the thumbwheel for the 4th digit of the code.
10. Then press & hold the bottom button button to activate.
